A very interesting mod that adds in an eyebot companion named Darryl that can travel with the player and provide dialogue and backstory on the things and places you discover. He is voiced by a Microsoft text-to-speech program, but it doesn't sound half bad, and has a bit of a personality.
Darryl has thousands of voice lines, comments on 220 locations in the commonwealth, disengages combat, and is fully configurable. You can use him along with another companion too. The mod also adds over 100 new notes, holotapes, and other lore expanding items throughout the Commonwealth.
The mod has not been updated in quite a while, so consider this likely the final version.
